TO THE NHS Thank You Very sadly, I lost my husband, Anwar Raymond on 18th April this year, at the age of 90 to cancer. I was fortunate to have shared his life for almost 40 years and I firmly believe that it would have been far less than this without the care and attention he received from the NHS in Gloucester and Cheltenham. My heartfelt thanks go to Mr Okeke, Dr Bowen and Dr Owen for his hospital treatment; to Theresa Lewis, Alison and their teams for making Anwar so comfortable in his last few weeks and enabling him to remain at home with his family; and Dr Moreno whose dedication, patience and humour was unfailing - combined with his ability to make Anwar listen to him, which to those of you who knew my husband was no mean feat! I know that Anwar was very grateful to you all as am I, his children Lily, Isaac, Aaron and Raymond and his grandchildren Michael and Clara. Thank you Wendy Raymond
